Affordable homes to rent coming to ‘prime’ location
The homes will be built on the site of the former Seacombe Ferry Hotel
Work on plans for almost 30 affordable homes at the site of a former hotel in Seacombe is set to begin.
Kingsmead Homes will shortly begin work on 28 apartments for affordable rent at land which used to be home to the Seacombe Ferry Hotel.
The firm us building the apartments, a mixture of one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes across four storeys, as part of an Onward Homes Scheme.
£4 million Warrington development for over-55s opens
A MULTIMILLION pound housing development in Penketh designed for older people has officially opened.
The development is on the site of the former Penketh Tavern, off Greystone Road, which fell into disuse some years ago.
The new development, which has been named Edgewood Court, is now fit to accommodate over-55s in its range of one and two-bedroomed apartments.
